# How to set up a Cool Creator account.

Currently, the 8mint platform is free to use. You need to mint a free "Creator Trial Pass" following the instructions below. The flow for both free and paid passes is the same.

***Step 1:*** Visit 8mint dApp <https://8mint.io> and mint your "Cool Creator" pass by clicking the "Start here" button in the "Cool Creator" section.

***Step 2:***  Follow the steps to mint your (NFT based) Creator pass. You are a proud owner of a "Cool Creator" pass.
